TERRENCE M. BENNETT
Terry practices corporate and real estate law. He began practicing law as an associate with large New York City firms, first with Olwine, Connelly, Chase, O’Donnell & Weyher and then with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. Terry represents clients in purchases, sales and mergers of businesses, in bank and equity financings, and in buying, selling, leasing and financing real estate. In addition to his transactional work, he also represents businesses in all aspects of their ongoing operations and represents business owners in connection with shareholder agreements, partnership agreements and limited liability company operating agreements and in shareholder, partner and limited liability company member disputes. Many of Terry’s business clients are companies that have been in business, or business owners who have operated businesses, for many years, while others are newly-formed businesses or individuals starting new businesses. Terry has represented companies engaged in a broad array of activities, including manufacturing, distribution, political consulting, renewable energy, software development, VOIP telecommunications, avionics and space exploration. Terry is conversant in French and Italian.

Gus practices banking and corporate transactional law. Gus began practicing law as an associate at the firms of Olwine, Connelly, Chase, O’Donnell & Weyher and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. He graduated from Duquesne University and received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. Gus represents banks in connection with lending to domestic and offshore private equity funds; lending to private equity, venture and hedge fund principals; lending to operating companies (including syndicated loans); lending to high net worth individuals (including loans secured by art collections); restructurings of troubled loans; and credit-enhancement lending in structured finance transactions. Gus also represents clients in connection with private equity transactions (as both issuers and lead and secondary investors), syndicated and other secured borrowings, joint ventures, shareholder agreements and mergers and acquisitions.
